The Federal Government has opened applications for its Credit for Laptops, Internet, Connectivity and Knowledge Digital Devices (C.L.I.C.K.D.) programme, allowing Nigerians to obtain laptops, smartphones and tablets through affordable credit.
Applicants can register by visiting the official CREDICORP portal, selecting their employment status, device needed, income category and purpose for requesting the device before submitting the application.
The pilot phase is currently targeted mainly at beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, although the application portal also accommodates participants from several other recognised digital talent programmes. Details on interest rates and repayment terms are yet to be announced.
