Tyson slaps Paul

Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul at a tense weigh-in for Friday’s contentious heavyweight bout in Texas.

The 27-year-old novice boxer, Paul will face 58-year-old Tyson at Dallas’ AT&T stadium.

After both men had weighed in, Paul crawled across the floor and then climbed up to Tyson’s eyeline for the customary final head-to-head.

For the majority of fight week, Tyson had resisted Paul’s prodding.

However, after slapping his opponent across the face, security and team members hurried in to break up the fight.

Tyson declared: “Talking’s over,” and left the stage.

Meanwhile, Paul was grinning before he sat down and seemed to be meditating.

Paul said of the slap: “I didn’t even feel it.

“He’s angry.

“He’s an angry little elf”, he added.

“Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy, but tomorrow you’re getting knocked out”.

Tyson, the two-time world champion, who last battled professionally in 2005, had weighed 16st 4lb.

Paul was a pound lighter than Tyson.

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano…

Undisputed light-welterweight champions Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano provided a composed appetizer amidst the commotion of the headlining shenanigans.

They made weight effortlessly and engaged in a pleasant face-off before using their microphone time to praise the advancements made in women’s boxing.

“I told her this is our time”, Serrano said afterwards.

“Let’s do the same thing we did two years ago.

“This is the defining moment for all women in boxing.

“This is our time.

“We worked really hard to be in this position”.

Taylor defeated Serrano by a slim margin on points in 2022 to win a lightweight classic.

Both women weigh 9st 11lb, and the rematch will be at light-welterweight.

Taylor’s promoter Eddie Hearn was present, despite rumors that he would not receive a credential for the event.

The Matchroom boss criticized Paul-Tyson.

He also stated that he would go before to the main event.

He praised his fighter, Taylor , who was also complimentary of her fellow trailbrazer.

“I’ve had some amazing moments in 18 years but I think tomorrow night will be one of my best ever,” Taylor said.

Analysis – Unsavory, creeping, and dramatic sequences

According to report, this was no ordinary boxing match.

It was therefore an unusual weigh-in.

On Thursday afternoon, competitors weighed in behind closed doors.

However, the weights were not disclosed to the public until the ceremonial weigh-in later that evening.

Two hours prior to the commencement, a big line gathered outside the arena.

Many of those admirers entered and swung at a boxing punch machine that featured Paul’s face.

Two figures costumed as Transformers, each about 10 feet tall, paced the audience while Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders entertained the crowd.

At least 3,000 spectators crowded the area by the time the undercard bouts took place.

When the slap happened, there was a distinct “you can hear a pin drop” moment.

The unpleasant moment was quickly passed, and it will reportedly be seen and shared indefinitely as the last viral moment leading up to the fight tomorrow.

Paul and Tyson’s next encounter will take place in the ring, according to report.

No one is entirely certain of what to anticipate.
