Nigerian skit maker and comedian Sabinus has expressed deep frustration over the ongoing insecurity in the country, particularly the abduction of schoolchildren who are still being held captive.
In a recent comment, the comedian said he feels ashamed of the situation in Nigeria, blaming the country’s leadership for failing to protect citizens.
According to him, the continued captivity of the kidnapped students is heartbreaking and reflects poorly on the nation’s governance and security system.
“Up till now, the kidnapped school children are still being held in the bush. Most times, I feel ashamed to even say I’m a Nigerian because the leaders that are supposed to protect us are incompetent,” he said.
His remarks add to growing public outrage over the persistent wave of kidnappings and insecurity across several parts of the country, with many Nigerians calling for urgent government action to secure the release of the victims.
The situation has continued to spark reactions from celebrities, activists, and citizens who are demanding stronger security measures and accountability from authorities.
