Dancer Korra Obidi who allegedly suffered an acid and knife attack in the United Kingdom on Thursday, April 11, has said that she has been suffering in silence for 2 years since her divorce.

Korra revealed that she escaped the attack with the best possible scenario and she hopes the investigation will yield some closure as to who the mastermind of the attack is.

She added that she did not want to wait till the worst happened.

The controversial dancer wrote, “I escaped with the best possible scenario and this I am grateful. Hoping the investigations will yield some closure as to who the ring leader to all these attacks are.

“I have been suffering in silence for 2 years since divorce. Glad this was LIVE and there is ample evidence. Don’t want to wait till the worse happens and help will finally come.

“This can only be God, Thank you everyone.”

In the video she uploaded, she showed the bruise on her leg saying that was the stab she got from the assailant. She also showed her face, claiming she was splashed acid.

Though, many netizens reacting to the post however queried if she was splashed acid at all considering that it left no burn on her face.

Someone suggested that it might have been a pepper spray.

The person wrote, “I think Korra was probably pepper sprayed. This acid story no gel at all.”

donaldinho66, “This lady is always on the news for one controversy or the other. Always playing victim. She should check herself well and try to sit in one place. No be only you come this world”

NewsBand reported that the former BBNaija Housemate was attacked in the United Kingdom with acid and knife.

Obidi while recounting her ordeal said the unfortunate attack occurred while she was in the middle of a live stream.

In a video shared by Obidi on her Instagram account, she said, “My face is burning, can I have some coke to wash it please.”

The livestream footage showed Korra Obidi in distress, frantically washing her face with a Coca-Cola beverage, likely to neutralize the burning sensation of an acid attack.

Also, in the same video, two police operatives arrived at the scene. One officer applied a liquid solution to her face, to ease the pain.

The other officer was seen spraying her back, likely administering first aid.

In a caption accompanying the disturbing video, Obidi appealed with the general public for any information that could identify and apprehend the suspect.

The dancer described her attacker as a black female of approximately five feet in height. She further revealed she had been subjected to hateful comments online in the past, but this physical assault serves as a stark wake-up call.

“Currently in an ambulance to the hospital, there was a knife, acid attack on me in the UK in the middle of a live stream.

“There’s been a lot of hate in the past but this physical assault is a wakeup call.”
