Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko, as he marks 10 years since her passing.
Taking to his Instagram page, the respected actor shared a touching message alongside a photo of his late wife, describing her as a pillar of love, grace, and strength in their family.
Reflecting on her life and legacy, Kosoko expressed pride in their children, noting that they are doing well and continuing to make her proud. He also shared his belief that she is watching over them from above.
“Today marks 10 years since my beloved wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, returned to her Creator. She was love, grace, and strength to our children and me. Her children are doing great, and I know she’s smiling from above. May God grant her peace yonder. We miss you, Rita Omo Odudukudu. Continue to rest in peace, Iya Ibeji,” he wrote.
Henrietta Kosoko passed away on June 6, 2012, at the age of 53, following complications arising from diabetes. Her death came after she was rushed to the hospital when she suddenly slumped.
Before her passing, she had also survived a serious accident along the Sagamu-Abeokuta road, an incident that nearly claimed her life at the time.
A talented actress in her own right, Henrietta left behind a lasting legacy in Nollywood and is fondly remembered by fans, colleagues, and loved ones.
A decade later, Jide Kosoko’s tribute highlights the enduring love and deep bond they shared, as well as the lasting impact she had on her family and those who knew her.
