Distinguished leader and Anambra State gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo called for transformative vision while addressing a gathering of Ndi Anambra professionals and elders at the Anambra State Public Officers and Elders Forum (ASPOF) meeting in Abuja.

According to press release, the event brought together notable Anambra leaders who are dedicated to establishing a better future for the state.

The event was chaired by Chief Pa. Simon Okeke.

Mr. Ozigbo presented his revolutionary idea “Ka Anambra Chawpụ”, an all-inclusive framework intended to capitalize on Anambra’s abundant historical, cultural, and economic resources.

“This vision aims to create a self-generative, progressive future for our state by uniting tradition with modern governance approaches”, Ozigbo stated.

He asked directly during the speech if the audience was happy with the way Anambra’s government was going at the moment.

The audience response was a uniform “No”.

This response was a forceful plea for leadership that reflects the people’s desires, according to the source.

Ozigbo urged the audience to acknowledge their combined ability to influence the future.

He reminded them that they are in charge of selecting the state’s leaders.

Mr. Ozigbo also commented on his path, from his early years as the son of a village headmaster and church catechist in Amesi, Aguata, to his accomplishments as a worldwide CEO.

“This path of integrity, diligence, and excellence is a testament to what we can achieve as a people.

“Ka Anambra Chawpụ is my pledge to uphold these values in service to our state”, he affirmed.

“Ka Anambra Chawpụ”

According to the source, five fundamental foundations are included in “Ka Anambra Chawpụ”:

  1. Preserving Cultural Identity: Anambra’s development is based on its embrace of Igbo history.
  2. Economic Empowerment: fostering a resilient economy by assisting small companies and generating employment possibilities.
  3. Community-Centered Governance: Making sure that Ndi Anambra’s beliefs and interests are reflected in government actions.
  4. Innovation in Science and Technology: Promoting improvements in infrastructure and education to establish Anambra as a modern state.
  5. Security and Stability: Creating a safe atmosphere as the cornerstone of long-term development.

Single tenure

Ozigbo responded to inquiries about his pledge to a single term.

He affirmed that if elected, he would only serve one term.

When asked about Governor Soludo’s previous remarks, he made it clear that the problem is one of governance that satisfies Ndi Anambra’s needs, particularly in the area of security.

He went on to state that it is not of personal preference.

According to Dr. Law Mefor, Anambra’s Commissioner for Information, the state government intends to purchase equipment to fight insecurity.

Attendees were disappointed by the delay in addressing this important topic and viewed this response with mistrust.

For their devoted work, Mr. Ozigbo expressed his sincere gratitude to ASPOF leaders, notably PRO Chief Coleman Uba, Secretary Mr. Ralf Oraeruno, and Chairman Chief S. N. Okeke.

Barr. Datta Amachree, Hon. Val Ayika, Mazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, Chief Teddy Ezeike, Chief Okey Chikwendu, Barr. Obi Iwuchukwu, Barr. Izuchukwu Unegbu, Mrs. Amaka Ezeugo, Chuchu Ibeneme, Pharm. Val Okechukwu, Chukwudi Iloka, Mazi Dickson Iroegbu, and numerous others were among those he also thanked for their support.

“As Ndi Anambra, we possess the strength and unity to build a future that honors our roots and fosters real progress.

“Together, we can achieve a better, brighter, and more secure Anambra,” Ozigbo concluded.
