According to am, she cancel her marriage plans with her former lover afta dem don engage.

Drey talk dis during one recent episode of di With Chude podcast.

As she dey reveal di reason for her decision, di actress explain say she realize say she no dey fully fulfilled or happy afta dem don engage.

She talk say she dey regret say pipo dey criticize am afta she call off di wedding.

She talk say, “My ex and I no get perfect relationship.”

“Him no ever cheat, him no ever dey abusive. But you sabi wen you no dey 100% fulfilled or happy.”

“We dey live for part of di world wey dem dey emphasize marriage well-well, especially for women.”

“My parents no pressure me, but I remember my friends dey ask me, ‘Wen you go marry?”

“Eventually, him propose. I remember say I get dis fear.”

“Na him really be di pesin wey I go marry?’ I dey very close to my mama.”

“Wen I tell am say I don engage, she talk say, ‘Simi, no do dis.’ But I tell am say everything dey okay.”

“My mama no be di kind woman wey go ever stop me to do something or blacklist me.”

“But she sabi say I no dey feel complete for di relationship. I call my papa and end di call for tears of fear, no be joy.”

“Two months later, I call my fiancé and talk say make we work on our relationship first, and den maybe we fit think about marriage.”

“A month later, I no feel say I wan marry dis man bicos I wan marry with value.”

“I end di engagement with am. And I receive more criticism from pipo around me, but I gatz be true to myself say I no dey happy for di relationship.”

“Na afta I waka come out, reality come hit me. I come realize say being single and happy beta pass being married and dey suffer.”

Wen she collect her university degree for 2013, she fully relocate go Naija.

Afta her NYSC, she work with Cool TV for two years as di host of di Late Night Show, before she join Spice TV and host dem flagship show, Bargain Hunters for 2016.

Dat same year, she act for di Nollywood series di Governor, wey she play di role of Ify Ochello.

She come go feature for Nollywood longest running TV series Tinsel.

While she dey on di set of Tinsel, dem account am and cast am for di role of Amanda for di film Happy Father’s Day (2016) and im sequel Anoda Father’s Day (2019).

For December 2016, she join Di Beat 99.9 FM wia she dey host di Saturday and Sunday Morning show for three years before dem move am to di weekday Morning Rush show wey she co-host with Osikhena Dirisu.

While she dey for Beat FM, with MTV Base, dem choose am to cover MTV EMAs for Seville, Spain for December 2019.

For 2019, she come back to television and become presenter for 53 Extra (wey dem dey call am Studio 53 before) for Africa Magic until e finish for 2020, afta dat she come be host for di show Movie Talk for African Movie Channels.
