An unknown number of people have been killed after a trailer crash occurred at the popular Idemili Junction in Anambra State.
The unfortunate crash occurred on Tuesday evening when a speeding trailer with a 40-feet container lost control and crashed, trapping tricycles, a shuttle bus, and pedestrians underneath.
Eyewitnesses report that the trailer’s brakes failed, resulting in the fatal crash.
The FRSC spokesperson in Anambra State, RC Margaret Onobe, confirmed the crash but did not provide further details.
The cause of the crash is under investigation as the FRSC is yet to release an official report in respect to the development.
