Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and his partner Temi Otedola have sparked reactions online following a lighthearted conversation about pregnancy, gifts, and responsibilities.
In the now-viral exchange, the couple humorously debated the idea of a “push gift” a present typically given to a woman after childbirth. Temi playfully downplayed the need for gifts, suggesting that the baby itself is the real reward.
“The child is the gift… you don’t need gifts,” she said.
Mr Eazi, however, jokingly pushed back, pointing out that having a child also comes with added responsibility and hinting that he might still want a gift of his own.
“I think we also need a gift,” he replied, sparking laughter.
Temi responded with humor, noting that he hadn’t done any of the “pushing,” implying that the reward tradition doesn’t exactly apply to him.
The conversation then shifted to the idea of a “babymoon,” which Temi explained as a short vacation couples take before the arrival of their baby a time to relax and enjoy each other’s company before stepping into parenthood.
The playful exchange has resonated with fans, many of whom praised the couple’s chemistry and relatable dynamic, while others joined in the conversation about modern parenting traditions and expectations.
