Nigerian Pastor Claims God Gave Him Cash And Foodstuff After N5,000 Offering

David Ibiyeomie, the leading Pastor of Salvation Ministries, has made a controversial claim that God rewarded him with N25,000, a crate of eggs, a bag of rice, and beans after he gave his salary of N5,000 as an offering in 1997.

In a video posted on Instagram, Ibiyeomie said his wife had requested the money to buy foodstuff at the market, but he heard God’s voice telling him to give the money to Him instead.

He obeyed and dropped the N5,000 as a sacrifice.

According to Ibiyeomie, a woman was prompted by God to give him the gifts, including the cash and food items, without even meeting him.

He also claimed that the woman’s husband, who was previously stingy, gave her N1 million and got a job in Abuja.

Social media users have reacted to the claim, with some expressing skepticism and others showing support.

While some praised Ibiyeomie’s faith, others questioned the authenticity of the story, with one user comparing it to a “Bet9ja” format.

The claim has sparked a debate about the nature of faith and the role of God in everyday life.

Some users sought clarification on how to distinguish God’s voice from their own thoughts, while others joked about the story’s implausibility.

Regardless of the controversy, Ibiyeomie’s claim has generated significant attention and discussion on social media, highlighting the power of faith and the human desire for miracles and blessings.
