Popular Nigerian social media influencer and prankster, Ubani Zion, also known as ZFancy, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force’s National Centre for Cyber Crimes in Abuja.

The arrest comes after one of his prank videos sparked accusations of involvement in ritualistic activities on social media.

According to a senior official at the centre, ZFancy was taken into custody in connection with the video, which had gone viral and prompted an investigation.

The video featured a woman named Kokina, who alleged that ZFancy had used ritualism in a prank involving her missing friend.

Another woman, Sekyen Ariya, also came forward with allegations against ZFancy, claiming that she had a terrifying experience with him and his crew.

She alleged that she was lured to a photoshoot with promises of payment, but ended up being drugged and finding herself in a public area, unclothed and surrounded by a crowd.

Her friend, Bella, who accompanied her to the shoot, is currently missing.

The police confirmed the arrest of ZFancy, with Force Spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi stating that it was related to a case involving a misleading prank.

The investigation is ongoing, and ZFancy is facing charges related to the allegations.
