Police Discover 350 AK-47 In A Poultry Farm In Niger State

The Police have discovered 350 AK-47 ammunition and arrested four suspects in a poultry farm along Sabon-Wuse-Garam road in Tafa LGA of Niger State.

DDM News reports that the road leads to Bwari town in the Federal Capital territory.

A vigilante told our reporter that four suspects, the farm manager, two other staff and a visitor, were arrested during the operation.

He said it was not clear whether the ammunition were linked to the banditry in the area or were billed for transportation to another location.

When contacted, the police spokesman in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, said he would give an update on the issue.
