Lagos socialite Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, is facing possible legal scrutiny following his dramatic appearance at a recent event where he arrived with more than 10 models dressed in lawyers’ robes and wigs.
The businessman shared a video of the entrance on social media, describing the display as a tribute to legal practitioners in Nigeria.
However, the act has sparked mixed reactions online, with some users criticising it while others defended his creativity and performance style.
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, known on X as “Maritime Guy,” claimed that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) was aware of the incident and may take appropriate action regarding the portrayal.
The development has raised debate on social media about the boundaries of entertainment and respect for professional symbols.
Some critics also referenced Pretty Mike’s previous controversies, including a past incident in which his nightclub was reportedly shut down and searched over alleged drug-related concerns, although he was later cleared after no incriminating evidence was found.
Following the court ruling at the time, Pretty Mike maintained his innocence and continued to remain active in the entertainment and social scene.
As of the time of filing this report, the NBA has not officially confirmed any disciplinary action.
