Rashford Snubs Three Premier League Clubs Amid Barcelona Interest
DDM News

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly rejected offers from three Premier League rivals.
The England international, aged 27, is believed to have turned down Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa.
Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that Rashford, who had a loan spell at Aston Villa last season, is seeking a permanent exit from Old Trafford.
Despite interest from domestic clubs, Rashford is reportedly exploring opportunities outside England, with Barcelona showing some interest.
However, Barcelona’s top priority remains Athletic Bilbao’s winger, Nico Williams, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
Williams, a 21-year-old Spanish international, has a €58 million (£48.1 million) release clause in his contract.
He was close to joining the La Liga champions last season but opted to remain with Athletic Bilbao at the time.
This summer, Barcelona is said to be more determined to land him and has reactivated their pursuit.
The Catalan giants are also monitoring Marcus Rashford as a possible secondary addition to strengthen their attack.
Rashford, who came through Manchester United’s academy, has endured a difficult period at the club, facing inconsistency and criticism.
His short spell at Villa Park saw a slight resurgence in form, prompting speculation over a permanent deal.
However, Rashford has reportedly made it clear that he is not interested in staying in the Premier League unless a top Champions League club is involved.
Chelsea, who finished outside the Champions League spots, and Newcastle, dealing with Financial Fair Play constraints, were both ruled out by the player.
Aston Villa, despite qualifying for Europe, were also not convincing enough to retain Rashford’s services.
Barcelona’s financial limitations may still pose a hurdle in signing both Williams and Rashford this summer.
Club president Joan Laporta has repeatedly stressed the need to balance the books before any major transfer outlay.
Still, Rashford’s availability at a lower price than Williams could make him an appealing backup option.
His experience, versatility, and goal-scoring ability could add depth to Xavi Hernandez’s attacking options if a deal materializes.
For now, Rashford remains a Manchester United player but is clearly on the lookout for a new challenge outside the Premier League.
