Tambuwal condemns Plateau killings, urges swift government action

Former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aminu Tambuwal, has condemned the recent violent attacks in Plateau State.
He described the attacks as cruel, unjustified, and completely unacceptable in any society as gathered by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM).
Tambuwal made this known in a post on his official X account on Wednesday.
He expressed deep sadness over the killings and destruction across several Plateau communities.
“No society should tolerate this level of violence,” he stated.
He said the attacks must not be allowed to continue unchecked.
The senator offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
He also sympathized with the many people displaced by the violence.
Tambuwal assured the people of Plateau that he stands with them during this painful period.
He called on the Federal Government to fulfill its duty of protecting lives and property.
Tambuwal urged security agencies to act swiftly to stop further violence.
He emphasized that those responsible for the attacks must be brought to justice.
According to him, justice must be served to prevent future incidents.
“The Federal Government must take action now,” he said.
He noted that Nigeria cannot continue down this road of lawlessness and insecurity.
Tambuwal said the current security situation threatens national stability and citizen confidence.
He urged authorities to restore public trust through firm and fair action.
His remarks follow widespread concern over increasing insecurity in Plateau and other parts of the country.
Many Nigerians have also called for urgent government intervention to address the crisis.
Tambuwal’s statement was met with support and praise from various quarters.
Citizens are demanding not just words but decisive actions to end the violence.
