Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has suggested that the current season may be his last at the club.

Speaking in a recent interview after Sunday’s big 0-3 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, Salah stated, “As you know, it’s my last year in the club… I just wanna enjoy it, I don’t wanna think about it.”

The Egyptian superstar’s comments have raised eyebrows, as he revealed that no one from the club has approached him about a contract extension. “No one in the club has talked to me yet about a contract, so I say it’s my last season,” Salah said.

When asked about the possibility of a new deal, Salah remained noncommittal, saying, “It’s not up to me… but no one has spoken to me at the club.”

Salah’s statements have sparked speculation about his future at Anfield, with fans and pundits alike wondering if the 31-year-old will indeed depart at the end of the season.

Liverpool FC has yet to comment on Salah’s remarks, leaving the football world in suspense about the potential departure of one of the club’s most beloved and successful players.
