Popular Nollywood actress Wunmi Toriola has revealed in a recent interview that while she has no intention of remarrying, she is open to having more children with her ex-husband.

According to Diaspora digital media (DDM) reports, the actress, known for her roles in Nigerian films, shared personal details of her relationship with her former spouse and expressed her current views on their co-parenting arrangement.

In an exclusive interview, Wunmi Toriola spoke candidly about her past marriage and how it ended.

She recalled that the breakdown of the marriage was largely due to ongoing disagreements with her ex-husband, where tensions escalated to the point where he would “rub her face” in their conflicts.

This, she revealed, played a pivotal role in the collapse of their relationship.

Despite the challenges they faced during their marriage, Toriola’s feelings toward her ex-husband appear to have softened over time.

The actress explained that although her ex-husband previously told her that she might not make a good wife if they ever reconciled, he acknowledged her qualities as a mother, describing her as a good parent to their children.

This recognition of her maternal abilities seems to have fostered a positive dynamic between them, especially as they now focus on co-parenting their children.

Toriola, who gained significant recognition in the Nigerian film industry, was previously married in a highly publicized ceremony.

However, her marriage to her ex-husband ended in 2023 after a series of unresolved issues.

Since then, the actress has remained vocal about her experiences, particularly the challenges that led to the dissolution of the marriage.

While Toriola has stated that remarriage is not on her agenda at the moment, she emphasized that her priority is expanding her family with her ex-husband.

She shared that both of them are on good terms and co-parenting successfully, which has allowed them to remain in each other’s lives for the sake of their children.

Toriola’s comments suggest that while their romantic relationship may be over, their bond as parents continues to thrive.

It’s noteworthy that, although Toriola’s ex-husband has not remarried, the actress refrained from confirming whether or not he is in a new relationship.

However, she made it clear that for now, their focus is on raising their children together in an amicable environment.

Wunmi Toriola is widely regarded in Nollywood for her compelling performances in films.

Known for her emotional depth and strong screen presence, she has earned a dedicated following over the years.

Despite her personal struggles, she remains a respected figure in the entertainment industry, balancing her career with her responsibilities as a mother and co-parent.

As Toriola moves forward with her life, it’s evident that she values the well-being of her children and the co-parenting arrangement with her ex-husband over the prospect of remarrying.

The actress’ willingness to embrace her past while focusing on her future as a mother highlights her resilient approach to life.

Toriola’s journey demonstrates the complexities of relationships and the power of focusing on what truly matters the well-being of her children and nurturing positive co-parenting dynamics.
