In an interview with conservative radio host Dan Bongino, US President-elect Donald Trump issued a stern warning about the ongoing ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas, stressing that the agreement must be reached before he takes office on Monday.

According to Diaspora digital media (DDM), Trump emphasized the urgency of completing the negotiations, signaling his determination to ensure that a resolution is in place ahead of his swearing-in ceremony.

“We changed the course of it, and we changed it fast, and frankly, it better be done before I take the oath of office,”

Trump declared, underscoring his involvement and leadership in pushing the peace talks forward.

Trump’s comments come amid critical ceasefire discussions facilitated by the US, Egypt, and Qatar, who are working to secure a lasting ceasefire to end the violence in Gaza.

The United States has been heavily involved in the talks, with Trump claiming that his influence played a key role in advancing the negotiations.

“We shook hands, and we signed certain documents, but it better be done,

” he said, reinforcing his expectation for the peace agreement to be finalized immediately.

Throughout the interview, Trump also took a swipe at the Biden administration, accusing President Joe Biden of failing to make significant progress in resolving the crisis.

“I’m not looking for credit. I want to get these people out,

” Trump remarked, focusing on the immediate need to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas.

Trump’s remarks reflect his focus on humanitarian issues, including bringing hostages home and providing critical aid to Gaza, where the ongoing conflict has caused immense suffering.

The situation in Gaza is dire, with escalating violence and widespread destruction.

A ceasefire, if successfully reached, could end the bloodshed and allow for the safe release of hostages and the delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict.

Trump has long been an advocate for securing such outcomes, but his latest remarks indicate that he is determined to see results before he assumes office.

Trump’s leadership and engagement in the talks have sparked considerable attention, as the international community closely watches the situation.

His demand for an agreement before his inauguration reflects the political and humanitarian stakes involved.

While the incoming administration is focused on pressing global matters, including the situation in Gaza, Trump’s approach highlights his commitment to delivering results swiftly.

With just days remaining before he takes office, Trump is under pressure to ensure that the ceasefire is fully implemented and that the hostages are freed.

As the ceasefire negotiations continue, Trump’s insistence on a prompt resolution has raised questions about the future direction of US foreign policy in the Middle East.

Trump’s assertiveness on the matter demonstrates his commitment to addressing the crisis head-on, even before officially taking office.

His remarks also emphasize the significant role the United States will play in facilitating peace talks in the region, with many observers anticipating that Trump’s administration will bring a new level of urgency to international diplomacy.

Trump’s comments suggest that he is eager to establish his leadership from day one, particularly in dealing with high-stakes international issues.

The resolution of the Gaza conflict could become a key marker of his early foreign policy agenda.

The global community remains hopeful that Trump’s push for a swift resolution will pave the way for a peaceful and lasting ceasefire, ultimately leading to a more stable Middle East region under his leadership.
