Development economist accuses Atiku Abubakar of intellectual theft

Dr Odilim Enwegbara, a development economist has claimed that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is using his economic proposal without his approval

He disclosed this while featuring on Arise TV on Wednesday.

Enwegbara explained that he assisted Atiku to write an economic development proposal called ‘A Trillion Dollar Economy In Four Years’ before the 2019 election.

He further stated that he may take legal action against the former Vice president for continuing to use his brainwork without his consent.

He said, “Three or four months before we did election, I was approached to help Atiku put together an economic blueprint, which I did. It was voluminous. Everything you can think of on how to revive Nigeria’s economy. It was called, ‘A Trillion Dollar Economy In Four Years.’ Atiku was appreciative. Everyone was happy. It was detailed.

“The only thing that is unfair is, Atiku has not approached me to ask my consent even to continue to use that document.

“It is unfortunate as I might ask my lawyers to get back to him and ask him how on earth are you using my document? That is by the way. Nigeria needs more than that.”
