Nigeria, Belarus Strengthen Agricultural Ties

Nigeria and Belarus have signed a five-year action plan aimed at strengthening their partnership in agriculture and food security.

The agreement, which spans from 2024 to 2029, was signed by Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, and Belarus’ First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lukashevich.

According to Senator Kyari, the action plan represents a significant milestone in the relationship between Nigeria and Belarus.

He expressed his optimism that the partnership will foster significant growth and development in agriculture, enhancing food security for both nations.
