The Labour Party has won the 2024 UK elections, securing 326 seats out of 650 and paving the way for Keir Starmer to become the next Prime Minister.

According to official results monitored by Diaspora Digital Media, the Labour Party has achieved a majority government, marking a significant shift in the country’s political landscape.

The Conservative Party, led by incumbent Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, conceded defeat early this morning.

In his victory speech, Keir Starmer hailed the win as a “new dawn” for Britain, promising to tackle the country’s pressing issues, including the cost of living crisis, healthcare, and education.

“This election has shown that the British people want a change,” Starmer said. “They want a government that works for them, not just the privileged few. We promise to deliver on that mandate.”

The election saw several high-profile wins and losses, including the defeat of former Prime Minister Liz Truss, who lost her Norfolk South West seat to Labour by a narrow margin.
