2027: Tinubu allegedly offers N10b to 10 political parties for second term endorsement

A former Presidential spokesman and publisher of Point-blank News, Mr Jackson Ude has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is budgeting N10 billion each for 10 political parties he hopes to get endorsement from ahead of 2027 elections.

Ude also alleged that Mr Tinubu has directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to register any new political parties and deregister 9 and keep the number of political parties at 10.

He made the disturbing allegations in a post on his official X handle.

According to Mr Jackson Ude, President Tinubu hopes that the 10 political parties to be retained by the electoral commission would all endorse him after collecting the said N10 billion each.

The post reads, “A desperate Bola Tinubu who wants to win a reelection at all cost in 2027, is budgeting N10 billion each for 10 Political Parties he hopes to get endorsement from. He has also asked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC not to register any new political parties and deregister 9 and keep the number of political parties at 10.

“Tinubu hopes that the 10 political parties to be retained by INEC would all endorse him after collecting N10 billion each.

“The main opposition PDP which is yet to offer any opposition to the lackluster performance of the APC led Government might be the first to endorse Tinubu for a reelection if the current leadership led by Iliya Umar Damagun, a Nyesom Wike lackey remains as Chairman.”
