For Spring/Summer 2027, Dolce & Gabbana returned to one of its greatest inspirations: Sicily. The collection, titled Vacanze Siciliane (Sicilian Holidays), celebrated the beauty, culture, and relaxed lifestyle of the Italian island.
The show was held on June 20, 2026.
The runway felt like a Mediterranean escape. Models walked in lightweight tailoring, breezy knitwear, laser-cut suits, silk pieces, and short shorts designed for hot summer days. Comfort was clearly a priority, but without losing the brand’s signature Italian elegance.
Sicilian influences appeared throughout the runway. Lemon motifs, postcard-inspired prints, floral embroidery, coral details, handcrafted embellishments, and jewel accents captured the charm and nostalgia of a Mediterranean getaway. Denim was elevated with decorative details, while fluid suits showcased Dolce & Gabbana’s commitment to craftsmanship.
The color palette moved from classic black to brighter summer shades before ending with a fresh all-white finale that captured the spirit of a Mediterranean summer.
But beyond the clothes, the runway offered an important lesson: fashion is storytelling. Every look helped create the feeling of a carefree holiday by the sea. The collection showed how designers use clothing, colors, fabrics, and styling to communicate an emotion or a lifestyle.
The runway also highlighted a trend that continues to shape menswear: comfort without sacrificing sophistication. Relaxed silhouettes, lightweight fabrics, and effortless styling proved that modern luxury can feel both polished and easy to wear.
More than a showcase of new clothes, Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2027 was a celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and the timeless appeal of Sicilian summer living. Through relaxed silhouettes, artisanal details, and sun-soaked imagery, the collection delivered a modern wardrobe inspired by the spirit of an Italian holiday.
