Peter Okoye has continued his series of revelations, shedding more light on the deepening rift between himself, his twin brother Paul Okoye, and their elder brother Jude Okoye.
In this latest part, Peter claimed that the music label, Northside Music, is owned by Jude, with Jude’s wife listed as a shareholder. He alleged that although his name and Paul’s were later added, he was unaware of it at the time. He also questioned why royalties meant for them were being paid into Northside Music instead of Northside Inc., raising concerns about transparency.
Peter also addressed a personal decision that drew public attention—his change of birthday. According to him, he moved his celebration from November 17 to November 30 to avoid recurring tension, claiming that Paul often used the occasion to disrespect his wife, Lola Omotayo, whom he said was frequently blamed for their family issues.
He revealed that despite his wife’s efforts to celebrate both brothers publicly, she became a target of online trolling. The situation reportedly became so intense that he asked her to stop acknowledging them on his birthday altogether, choosing peace over public celebration.
On the legal and financial front, Peter made further allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He claimed that during an investigation into Jude, authorities allegedly discovered two mansions linked to Jude and Paul, suspected to have been acquired with funds tied to Northside Music. According to him, the properties, along with large sums of money, have been frozen. These claims remain allegations and have not been independently verified.
Peter also disclosed that Jude has taken legal action against him, seeking to stop him from performing Psquare songs, reportedly claiming he was the originator of the group. Peter expressed shock and a sense of betrayal over this move, especially given their shared history.
Reflecting on their early struggles, Peter recounted how he sold his car to help fund their move to Lagos, enabling them to secure an apartment in Omole. He questioned Jude’s claim of discovering them, pointing out that their first album was released while Jude was still in school.
Perhaps most surprising to him, Peter revealed that Paul is expected to serve as a witness for Jude in the ongoing court case an action he says deeply hurt him.
