The ongoing social media tensions involving Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal and the family of actress Priscilla Ojo Mkambala have taken a legal turn, with the High Court of Lagos State issuing an interim order restricting Anjorin’s online publications about the family.
The order was granted by Justice Y.A. Adesanya on September 2, 2026, following an application filed by Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, Rakeem Mkambala.
According to reports on the court order, Anjorin has been restrained from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting photographs of Rakeem Mkambala on her social media platforms.
The restriction also extends beyond photographs of the child. The order reportedly bars Anjorin, as well as anyone acting on her behalf, from publishing or broadcasting editorial content concerning the applicants through social media accounts identified in the order.
Instagram, Facebook and TikTok were among the platforms specifically mentioned in reports on the ruling.
The legal action comes amid a prolonged public dispute involving Anjorin and Priscilla’s mother, actress Iyabo Ojo. Anjorin has previously made social media posts concerning the Ojo family, with the dispute subsequently extending to members of Priscilla’s immediate family.
Priscilla later shared copies of the court order on social media, bringing the development to public attention.
The latest ruling does not represent a final determination of the underlying dispute. It is an interim order, meaning the court has imposed the stated restrictions while the legal proceedings continue.
The development has since generated reactions across social media, with supporters of the Mkambala family welcoming the court’s intervention.
The case adds another legal dimension to the long-running public fallout surrounding Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo, which has repeatedly spilled onto social media.
For now, the court order places specific restrictions on Anjorin’s publication and broadcast of content concerning Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, Juma Mussa Mkambala and their son, Rakeem Mkambala.
