Bandits attack Kaduna millennium city, kidnap many

Many people are feared kidnapped following an attack by bandits on Keke area of New Millennium City, Kaduna late hours of Monday.

The attack, it was gathered, occurred around 9:00 PM when many residents were yet to return from work.

Though men of the Millennium City Police Division were still in the area to ascertain the number people kidnapped, a resident told The Nation correspondent that many people were actually kidnapped.

The resident said: “The kidnappers came around 9:00pm during that rain. So, people were not alerted early enough, because the rain was heavy.

“They kidnapped many people.

“Most of the people kidnapped were just returning home during the attack and they just ran into the bandits.”
