The abusive husband of popular gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu who reportedly died in Abuja hospital after spending five days on life support, has been arrested by the police.
A source familiar with the development told NewsBand that the abusive husband was arrested after the heavy outcry that greeted the shocking revelations made by some of her close friends concerning the domestic violence she endured before her death.
Meanwhile, Osinachi was widely reported to have died from throat cancer but her close friends and music producer refuted the claim, describing it as false.
They said Osinachi’s husband abused her and kicked her on the chest, the reason she was hospitalised and died after five days of being on life support.
