The WhatsApp number of the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has been hacked.
The incident occurred on today, and the minister’s Special Adviser on Media, Diana-Mary Nsan, issued a public statement advising Nigerians to disregard any messages from the compromised number.
In her statement, Nsan warned the public, saying:
“It is of great importance to bring to your notice that the WhatsApp number of the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has been hacked.
“Please do not respond to any messages requesting information or favors, as they are not from the minister.”
She assured the public that efforts were being made to address the situation.
