Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly leaning towards a move to Chelsea over a potential transfer to Napoli, according to TyC Sport.

Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered that Napoli had already made an offer for the 20-year-old Argentine, but Manchester United initially rejected it, holding out for a hefty £70m transfer fee.

Chelsea, on the other hand, is also eager to sign Garnacho before the closure of the January transfer window.

The London club is keen to secure the talented winger, who has impressed with his performances at Old Trafford this season.

Garnacho’s representatives were spotted at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, where they watched Chelsea secure a 3-1 victory over Wolves.

This has fueled speculation about his potential move to Stamford Bridge.

United’s officials have continued discussions with Napoli, and recent reports suggest that Manchester United has now lowered their asking price for Garnacho to €65m (£54.8m).

This reduction could bring the winger closer to a move to Italy, but reports indicate that Garnacho is more inclined to remain in the Premier League.

Despite interest from Napoli, Garnacho’s personal preference is to stay in England, and he seems to favor joining Chelsea over a switch to Serie A.

However, the Blues have yet to submit an official bid for the player, and it remains to be seen whether they will act quickly before the transfer window closes.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, speaking ahead of Thursday’s Europa League match with Rangers, declined to comment on the future of Garnacho.

The uncertainty surrounding Garnacho’s future at Old Trafford continues to stir speculation, with fans and pundits alike eagerly awaiting any further developments.

As the transfer window progresses, the decision on Garnacho’s next destination remains unclear, but his preference for staying in the Premier League, particularly with Chelsea, continues to dominate the headlines.
