The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, has embarked on an inspection tour.
Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered that he assessed the progress of various ongoing projects under his administration.
The inspection covered six different communities within the local government area.
Hon. Chinye evaluated the implementation, functionality, and impact of infrastructural projects designed to improve residents’ living standards.
Onicha Olona: Improving water and sanitation infrastructure
Hon. Chinye began his inspection in Onicha Olona.
At Iyiogbe Primary School, he inspected the newly constructed six water system toilets.
He also assessed the renovation of three water system toilets within the school.
Additionally, he examined the functionality of the water supply distribution system.
At Ugba 1 Primary School, he inspected seven toilets, including bathrooms and their water supply system.
He assessed the borehole constructed to supply water to Ugba 2 and the PHC (Maternity) unit.
At Ugba 2 Primary School, he inspected the renovation of three water system toilets.
At the PHC (Maternity) Center, he examined the construction of four new toilets, including bathrooms.
He also assessed the functionality of the water supply distributed from the Ugba 1 Primary School borehole.
Issele Mkpitime: Market and sanitation projects
Hon. Chinye proceeded to Issele Mkpitime Market for further inspection.
He assessed the functionality of the constructed water reservoir and water stanchion.
The system supplies water to the toilet facilities within the market.
He also inspected the completed construction of 20 lock-up stores.
The stores aim to enhance local commerce and provide traders with a conducive business environment.
Idumuogo: Renovation of the community town hall
Arriving at Idumuogo, the Executive Chairman received a warm welcome.
Community members, especially women, gathered to express their appreciation.
Hon. Chinye inspected the ongoing total renovation and redesigning of the Idumuogo Community Town Hall.
This project holds great significance for the residents.
He expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far.
The Chairman encouraged the contractors to ensure timely completion.
Ubulubu: Revamping the market stores
The next stop on the inspection tour was Ubulubu Community.
Hon. Chinye assessed the construction and renovation of market stores in the area.
Market women welcomed him with songs of appreciation.
They expressed gratitude for his commitment to improving their trading conditions.
The Chairman reassured them of his administration’s dedication to economic empowerment.
He emphasized his commitment to infrastructural development.
Ugbodu: Upgrading the primary school
Hon. Chinye conducted an inspection at Aniocha North Primary School in Ugbodu.
The renovation project had reached an advanced stage.
The project includes a newly installed roof on the building.
Tiling of floors, toilets, and bathrooms had also been completed.
Burglary-proof windows and doors were installed for added security.
Hon. Chinye commended the construction team for their steady progress.
He urged them to maintain high-quality standards.
Issele-Uku Afor Modern Market: Infrastructure development in full swing
The inspection continued at the Issele-Uku Afor Modern Market.
Hon. Chinye assessed the ongoing construction progress at the site.
Most of the structures had reached the roofing stage.
He carefully inspected the various sections of the market.
During the visit, he analyzed specific areas that required minor modifications.
The goal is to enhance structural integrity and functionality.
Aniocha North LGA Council premises: Strengthening institutional frameworks
Hon. Chinye concluded his inspection at the Aniocha North LGA Council premises.
He assessed the progress of the modern legislative complex under construction.
He also inspected the completed structure for the Delta-Care Liaison Office.
Another structure is designated for the Aniocha North Environmental Taskforce.
