Kunle Kenny Sparks Debate as He Chooses Vasectomy Over Wife’s Birth Control

Nigerian gospel artist Kunle Kenny has shared his stance on family planning, revealing that he intends to undergo a vasectomy instead of having his wife rely on hormonal contraceptives.

The singer made this known in a post on his X account, where he explained that his decision is driven by concern over the potential health risks and side effects linked to birth control methods such as pills and implants.

According to Kenny, he believes it is unfair for women to bear the physical burden of contraception, especially when there are alternative options available.

He emphasised that decisions about having children will always be mutual between him and his wife, noting that they plan to grow their family only when both partners are in agreement.

He further stated that once they are satisfied with the number of children they have, he will take responsibility for preventing further pregnancies by opting for a vasectomy.

“Nobody is putting any birth control in my wife’s body. No pills, no chemicals. We will only have children when we both agree, and when we are done, I will get a vasectomy. A woman’s body is too delicate for all these side effects,” he said.
