The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested three persons living with disabilities over alleged involvement in drug trafficking during separate operations carried out in Anambra and Kwara states.
The agency also uncovered a massive cannabis warehouse in Lekki, Lagos, with drugs estimated to be worth over ₦5.8bn, while another operation led to the shutdown of a skuchies production site in the state.
Details of the operations were contained in a statement released on Sunday by the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi.
According to the agency, one of the suspects, 60-year-old Romanus Nwabara, was arrested on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Akpaka Forest in Onitsha, Anambra State. Officers allegedly recovered 250 grams of skunk already packaged in small retail sachets from him.
