Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has once again been linked with Manchester United, with a Turkish football pundit claiming the Nigerian could provide the solution to the Premier League club’s attacking struggles.
The latest comments come after Osimhen made a blistering start to the new season with Galatasaray, scoring four goals and providing an assist in his opening two matches. His form has once again placed the Nigerian striker at the centre of discussions about a possible move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Turkish pundit Yetiş Yönetci believes Manchester United would benefit enormously from having Osimhen leading their attack. Speaking in comments shared by A Spor, Yönetci described the Nigerian as a player capable of transforming a struggling team.
“Victor Osimhen would be the cure for all of Manchester United’s woes,” the pundit said.
Former Göztepe youth chief scout Burak Kural also agreed with the assessment, insisting that there are very few teams in Europe where Osimhen would not be capable of making an impact.
The comments have arrived at an interesting moment for Manchester United. The club suffered a disappointing start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign, losing 2-0 away to newly promoted Hull City.
The defeat immediately increased pressure on United’s attacking options and renewed discussions about whether the club requires another proven goalscorer.
Osimhen’s profile makes him an obvious candidate for such discussions. The Nigerian has developed a reputation as one of Europe’s most dangerous strikers, combining physical strength, pace, aerial ability and an instinct for finding the net.

Galatasaray are therefore unlikely to lack options if Osimhen becomes available for transfer.
His record in Turkey has also shown that he can adapt to a new environment and quickly become the focal point of a team’s attack.
