PHOTOS: Anambra govt demolishes kidnappers’ den, uncovers over 30 graves

As part of effort to rid Anambra State from all forms of criminality, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s administration has demolished a hotel used as hideout by kidnappers.

News Band understand that the building was used to carry out kidnapping and other sinister activities.

The demolition exercise was revealed via the official X handle of the Anambra State New Media office.

The hotel, known as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, aka La Cruise Hotel, is located along Onitsha Owerri road in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of the State.

At least 30 partitioned graves were found in the hotel during demolition.

A shrine was also found.

The New Media Office of Governor Soludo while announcing the development said, “Demolition of kidnappers den disguised as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites AKA ‘La Cruise Hotel’ along Onitsha Owerri road.

“The hotel has well-partitioned graves of over 30 on the last floor with a shrine!!”
