Shettima Backs Governance Institute Bill, Pledges Support For Institutional Reform Drive

ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Vice President of Kashim Shettima has pledged the Federal Government’s support for the speedy passage of the Chartered Governance Institute of Nigeria Bill currently before the National Assembly.

Shettima made the commitment while reaffirming the administration’s focus on strengthening governance systems and professional institutions across the country.

He also expressed support for the ongoing construction of the National Secretariat of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria in Lagos.

According to him, strong governance frameworks remain essential for national development, institutional efficiency, and economic stability.
