Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is currently working on a new home, noting that her present residence gives her a sense of safety due to its proximity to the President’s residence.
Speaking in an interview with content creator Korty EO, the Afrobeats star disclosed that the new property she purchased is still under construction and is expected to be completed next year.
“I bought a house somewhere, but it’s not ready till next year. I feel safe and important in my current location because the president’s house is in front,” she said.
Tiwa Savage has previously made headlines for her real estate investments. In 2024, she offered fans a glimpse of a luxury penthouse project in Ikoyi, Lagos State, sharing updates on the under-construction property via social media.
Before that, in 2023, the singer reportedly acquired a luxury home in London, United Kingdom. The property, which gained attention online, was said to feature high-end amenities including a gym, furnished living spaces, and a private cinema room.
According to reports, close associate and blogger Tunde Ednut claimed the London property cost approximately ₦1.7 billion.
The singer has continued to maintain a strong presence in both the music and lifestyle space, while also hinting in 2024 that she may be considering retirement after completing what could be her final studio album.
