Travis Scott arrested in Paris after fight with body guard
US rapper Travis Scott was arrested early on August 9, 2024, following a fight at a luxury hotel in Paris, according to prosecutors.
“Policemen were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested Travis Scott for violence against a security agent”, the Paris prosecutor’s office announced in a part statement.
The hotel security guard had intervened in an altercation between the rapper and his own bodyguard, the statement said.
Police are still investigating.
“The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police,” the statement noted, without providing additional details.
Who is Travis Scott?
Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer.
He was born on April 30, 1991, in Houston, Texas.
