US President Donald Trump is reportedly considering granting clemency to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to a report by CBS News.
The report said Trump is expected to meet with advisers in the coming days to review a list of clemency recommendations, with Diddy among several high-profile names under consideration.
If approved, the move would mark a dramatic shift after Trump reportedly rejected Diddy’s earlier request for a presidential pardon in January.
Combs stood trial in 2025 over allegations of abuse involving three accusers, including his former partner, Cassie Ventura. He also faced charges ranging from kidnapping and arson to blackmail.
A New York jury ultimately delivered a split verdict, convicting him on charges related to transporting individuals for prostitution while acquitting him of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
Beyond the criminal case, the Bad Boy Records founder is still facing dozens of civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual abuse, allegations he has consistently denied.
The CBS report also named Grammy-winning rapper Prakazrel “Pras” Michel of The Fugees as another individual seeking presidential clemency.
As of the time of filing this report, the White House had not confirmed whether Trump would grant clemency to Combs or any of the other individuals reportedly under review.
