You no fit bring me down, na you go go down – Wike dey warn PDP leaders

Di Minister of di Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, don talk say some leaders of di People’s Democratic Party (PDP) dey work hard to bring am down instead of focusing on how to solve di wahala wey dey face di party.

E still talk say plenty PDP leaders dey too carry dem personal ambition for head instead of thinking how dem go fit develop di party togeda.

Di former Rivers State Governor talk say di main wahala wey dey worry PDP na di lack of focus, wey don put di party for plenty challenges.

Him still warn say nobody fit bring am down, add say na di pipo wey dey work against am go be di ones wey go fall eventually.

Wike make dis talk on Wednesday during interview with newsmen.

“Make I tell you di problem, no be say PDP no fit gada demself, but na dis personal ambition; dis attitude say I must bring Wike down.”

“And when all your attempts na to bring Wike down, you go make mistake.”

“Na for trying to bring Wike down, you no dey focused, because Wike no go go down. Instead, na you go be di one wey go go down,” him talk.

Meanwhile, human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, don talk say Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, no do well as e give judges house and car.

Naija News remember say Wike don start di Design and Construction of 40 Judges’ Quarters for Katampe District for Abuja, wey don cause wahala, as plenty pipo dey argue say e no dey ethical.

For interview wey dem do for Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Falana talk say e no correct make executive dey give gift to members of judiciary, especially judges.

According to Falana, na di reason wey dem don make di autonomy of di judiciary constitutional, e dey stress say di judges no suppose go meet di executive to buy car and house for dem.

E maintain say di Constitution don give financial autonomy to di judiciary, wey give am di authority to manage im budget.

Political Career

Wike start him political career as di Executive Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Area for Rivers for 1999, and him hold dat position till 2007, afta dey him re-elected am for 2003.

For 2007, dem appoint am as di chief of staff to di governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi.

For July 2011, President Goodluck Jonathan appoint am as di Minister of State for Education, and dem promote am to Federal Minister of Education for September 2013.

Him come step down as Federal Minister to contest for.

di 2015 governorship election for him home state, Rivers State.

for 27 July 2023, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu send Nyesom Wike name, plus twenty seven oda pipo go di 10th Naija senate as ministerial nominees.

fro 31 July 2023, di senate come screen Wike wey him talk say President Tinubu no go regret say him nominate am as minister for him cabinet.

Him be di current Minister of di FCT now.
