(DDM) – The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released ticket prices ahead of the Super Eagles’ crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the match will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. local time.

According to the NFF, tickets for the popular stand will cost ₦1,000, while VIP seats have been fixed at ₦2,000.

The federation disclosed that sales will commence at designated centres across Uyo on Friday.

Officials anticipate a packed stadium as Nigerian fans rally behind the national team for the high-stakes Group C encounter.

The match comes at a critical point in Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Super Eagles have endured a poor run of form, dropping vital points against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

Nigeria currently sits under pressure with just seven points from six games played.

Their last home fixture ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw against Zimbabwe, leaving qualification hopes in jeopardy.

Analysts describe the Rwanda clash as a “must-win” game if Nigeria hopes to keep its 2026 dreams alive.

The Super Eagles, three-time African champions, are determined to secure maximum points before their upcoming trip to South Africa.

Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi emphasized the importance of victory while speaking to reporters in Uyo.

“If we let it slip, it’s finished,” Ndidi warned.

He stressed that failure against Rwanda would end Nigeria’s chances of mounting a serious qualifying campaign.

Ndidi, who plies his trade with Besiktas in Turkey, urged fans to show strong support at the stadium.

Coach Finidi George is expected to name a strong squad, blending experienced internationals with young talents.

Nigeria’s striking options remain a point of concern, with analysts calling for sharper finishing in front of goal.

Rwanda, known as the Amavubi, are expected to present a tough challenge despite being underdogs.

Their disciplined defensive style has troubled stronger teams in past encounters.

The NFF has urged supporters to turn out in large numbers and create a vibrant atmosphere in Uyo.

Football analysts believe crowd support could tilt the balance in Nigeria’s favor.

The game has been tagged one of the most decisive fixtures in Nigeria’s qualifying journey.

Failure to secure victory could derail the Super Eagles’ campaign before its final stages.

For now, the spotlight is firmly on Uyo as Nigerian football braces for a tense evening.
