Trump undergoes physical, health details under wraps

Donald Trump announces the death of three Israeli hostages held in Gaza

The United States President, Donald Trump, will undergo his annual physical examination today Friday April 11, 2025, at the Walter Reed Medical Center.

The 78-year-old Trump announced the development on his social media platform, saying, “I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!”

Trump, who in January became the oldest man sworn in as U.S. president, has kept his health records secret for years.

Despite repeatedly questioning Joe Biden’s fitness, Trump has refused to fully disclose his own medical condition.

Today’s check-up marks the first official update on his health since the July 2024 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.

Rather than releasing full records after the incident, Trump’s loyalist and ex-White House doctor, Rep. Ronny Jackson, issued a short memo.

Jackson confirmed a gunshot wound to Trump’s right ear, with no further details.

Trump had earlier promised in a CBS interview to release his full records but never did.

In November 2023, Trump’s physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald, said the former president was in “excellent” health.

But the letter contained no specifics — no weight, no blood pressure, no test results.

Aronwald only stated that Trump’s cognitive exams were “exceptional” and that he had lost weight.

Trump, who had battled COVID-19 in 2020, was admitted to Walter Reed at the time.

Though doctors gave a positive report, insiders revealed his vitals were “very concerning.”

After recovery, Trump avoided medical briefings and opted for a Fox News “evaluation” instead.

The segment was handled by Dr. Marc Siegel, a network contributor and political ally.

In 2019, Trump made an unannounced visit to Walter Reed — a move that broke White House protocol.

The visit was later described as a “routine” checkup, hidden due to scheduling issues.

Trump’s most talked-about cognitive moment came in 2020.

He famously recited “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV” on live TV to prove his mental sharpness.

With today’s checkup, observers wait to see if Trump will finally come clean on his health.

But going by history, the public may only get another glowing and vague report.
