Training on labor law and trade unions wraps up in Baku

A week-long training program focused on labor legislation and the role of trade unions has successfully concluded in Baku.

The event was held from April 7 to 11, 2025, at the Center for Professional Development and Career Advancement according to Diaspora Digital Media (DDM).

The program was organized by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.

It aimed to equip participants with knowledge and tools necessary to address challenges in labor relations and union leadership.

The training attracted a diverse group of trade union members, labor representatives, and HR professionals.

Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions covering a wide range of topics.

A key focus was the Labor Code of Azerbaijan, covering employment, employee rights, and workplace responsibilities.

Instructors provided an in-depth understanding of labor legislation and procedures for formalizing employment contracts.

The role of trade unions in protecting workers’ rights was also a central topic.
