Nigerian church organisation Christ Embassy has made a major move into the automotive industry with the unveiling of a range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand.

The vehicles were unveiled by the church’s founder and president, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris, an economic and innovation-focused programme organised by the church.

Videos from the event circulating online showed Oyakhilome unveiling several vehicles, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision Series, Vision Coupe and OG Series.

During the presentation, Oyakhilome disclosed that some aspects of the vehicles were still being refined, including the steering wheel design. He also explained that “OG” stands for “Of God.”

The development has attracted attention because of Christ Embassy’s expansion beyond its traditional religious activities into technology, innovation and economic development.

Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre praised the development, describing it as an example of the church demonstrating its capabilities beyond the pulpit and in the marketplace.

He said the unveiling showed that the church should not only preach about solutions but also participate in creating them through innovation and enterprise.

The unveiling marks Christ Embassy’s entry into the electric vehicle space, with the Tsion range becoming part of the organisation’s broader focus on innovation, economic empowerment and marketplace influence.
