Brodericks-Imasuen: Adio, Ex Broadcast Ace, Olympian, Expresses Shock Seeing Last Moments Of Late Coach

Hameed Adio, ex-sports broadcaster and Olympian has expressed his distress at seeing a viral picture of Late Coach Sabastian Brodericks-Imasuen believed to have been taken while he was in a hospital, hinting that service to nationhood to amount to something more than the deseased got.

In an emotion laden post on group whatsapp, Adio expressed deep sadness at the death of the coach who was also an ex-international with the Super Eagles.

“The great Coach Sabastian on sick bed before he passed. Hmmmmm the labour of our heroes past.  Nigeria!!!!”, Adio said in his post.

Remarking on the death of the ex-player and coach, Adio said it was a big loss for the country.

” What a huge loss. May the lord accept his soul into paradise and grant the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the huge loss of the great coach,” he added.

Imasuen led the country’s Under 17 team to the maiden edition of FIFA age grade competion and won gold.

Imasuen died on Thursday throwing the football family in the country into mourning.
