Nigerian entrepreneur BLord has sparked conversation after sharing candid details about his marriage and his stance on public displays of affection (PDA).
In a recent statement, BLord revealed that his wife was once more romantic in their relationship but gradually pulled back due to his lack of reciprocation.
“My wife used to be romantic to me, but she stopped because I wasn’t reciprocating,” he said.
He went on to describe their current dynamic, noting that their relationship now feels more reserved.
“We live like 50-year-old couples,” he added.
BLord also made it clear that he is not comfortable with public displays of affection, explaining that he avoids physical gestures like holding hands in public.
“I don’t like PDA. We don’t kiss outside. If you hold my hand in public, I’ll remove my hands,” he said.
Despite his stance, he maintained that he is still a caring partner in private.
“Genuinely, I’m a caring person,” he concluded.
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some people relating to his perspective on privacy in relationships, while others argue that emotional and physical expression are important for maintaining intimacy.
The discussion has further highlighted differing views on love languages, relationship expectations, and how couples navigate affection both in private and in public.
