Jonah Jang Is My Role Model, Says Mutfwang

JOS, Nigeria — Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has described former Governor Jonah Jang as his role model, praising his leadership, integrity and dedication to the development of Plateau State as the elder statesman marked his 80th birthday.

Governor Mutfwang made the remarks during a celebration held in honour of Jang, where political leaders, traditional rulers, religious figures and other dignitaries gathered to celebrate his contributions to governance and public service.

The governor said Jonah Jang’s style of leadership has remained a source of inspiration throughout his political career. He noted that the former governor demonstrated courage, discipline and commitment to the welfare of the people while serving Plateau State and Nigeria in different capacities.

According to Mutfwang, Jang’s years in office reflected a strong passion for service, peace and development. He added that the former governor’s achievements continue to serve as an example for leaders who genuinely desire to improve the lives of citizens through responsible governance.

Responding to the tribute, Jonah Jang thanked Governor Mutfwang and other guests for celebrating the milestone with him. He expressed gratitude to God for granting him long life, good health and the opportunity to serve the people throughout his public career.
