Kris Jenner has taken legal action to protect her family after a man allegedly obsessed with her daughter, Kylie Jenner, resurfaced.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch filed for a temporary restraining order against Colorado resident Kyle Robert DeWick, whom she described as a persistent and dangerous stalker. According to court documents obtained on May 29, 2026, a judge has already granted a temporary protective order against the suspect.
In her filing, Kris Jenner stated that DeWick has no personal relationship with the family but has remained fixated on them for years, particularly on Kylie. She said his behavior has caused severe emotional distress and raised serious concerns about the safety of her children.
The situation reportedly dates back to 2021, when DeWick first came to the attention of the family’s security team after repeatedly showing up at Kylie Jenner’s residence. He is said to have developed the false belief that Kris was encouraging him to pursue and eventually marry Kylie.
According to Jenner’s sworn statement, the man’s actions escalated in 2024 when he filed a bizarre federal lawsuit claiming the family was monitoring him and demanding access to them.
Security concerns intensified recently after DeWick resurfaced. Reports indicate he managed to enter a gated community, approached neighbours, and even contacted real estate agents in an attempt to find properties close to the family’s homes. He is also said to have a prior record involving violent assault.
To ensure their protection, Kris Jenner requested that the restraining order cover all her children Kylie, Kendall, Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian.
The court order now prohibits DeWick from contacting any member of the family and requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from them, their homes, workplaces, and vehicles.
The case has once again highlighted the ongoing safety concerns faced by high-profile celebrities dealing with obsessive individuals.
