President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend this year’s Christmas and New Year holidays.
He touched down at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos at 3:23pm on Wednesday.
In a statement by his spokesman, Chief Bayo Onanuga, the President Tinubu was warmly received at the airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other members of the state cabinet.
The statement reads, “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.
“Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
“Before his departure to Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, totalling N47.9trn, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.”
Prior to his departure from Abuja, President Tinubu presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly for review and passage.
