PSC Chairman commends SERVICOM’s role in promoting effective service delivery

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), DIG Hashimu Argungu, has praised the Service Compact with All Nigerians (SERVICOM) for its significant contributions to the Commission’s efforts to instill transparency and improve service delivery.

A press statement by  Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, PSC, indicates that DIG Argungu Rtd also looked forward to a sustained synergy with SERVICOM.

“SERVICOM’s efforts have made my job easier, and I am committed to raising the ethical standard of the Commission to ensure compliance with SERVICOM’s demands,” DIG Argungu stated while receiving the SERVICOM delegation led by National Coordinator and CEO, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli.

He reiterated his dedication to transparency, pledging to account for every allocated kobo and ensuring judicious use of resources. “We will ensure that every kobo allocated to the Commission is accounted for, and we will make sure that we are transparent in all our dealings.”

Mrs. Akajemeli congratulated DIG Argungu on his appointment and praised the Commission’s commendable service delivery since his assumption of duty.

“Service delivery in the Commission has been commendable since your assumption of duty, and we urge you to continue on this path,” she said.

She emphasized the need for timely promotions to motivate police officers and enhance service delivery, urging management support for the Servicom Committee within the Commission.

“Timely promotion of police officers will serve as motivation for improved service delivery, and we advise that the SERVICOM Committee in the Commission be availed the required management support,” Mrs. Akajemeli advised.
