Ukraine has reportedly given up her rare earth minerals to the United States in exchange for supporting her war efforts against Russia.

AP report says that Ukraine and the U.S. have reached an agreement on a framework for a broad economic deal.

The deal would include access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals.

Associated Press (AP) quoted three senior Ukrainian officials, who were familiar with the matter but spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

They told AP that Kyiv hopes that signing the agreement will ensure the continued flow of U.S. military support.

The agreement is expected to be signed on or before Friday.

Presently, the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is perfecting plans to travel to Washington to meet President Donald Trump, according to one of the Ukrainian officials.

Ukraine’s desperation shows it is urgently in need of military support which has drastically dwindled since Trump took over power.
